Client Bus service to the food bank has been discontinued until further notice due to town layoffs
on Fridays. Homebound clients will still receive delivery on the Thursday before distribution.

BACK TO SCHOOL SUPPLIES DAY
THE
FOOD BANK KID'S COMMITTEE WILL BE DISTRIBUTING BACK PACKS & SCHOOL SUPPLIES TO CHILDREN WHO ARE BETWEEN THE AGES OF 5
– 11 (K-6) AND WHO ARE SHOWN AS DEPENDENT CHILDREN ON OUR CURRENT CLIENT LIST.
LIMITED SUPPLIES ONLY WILL BE AVAILABLE FOR CHILDREN IN MIDDLE/HIGH SCHOOL.
WE
WILL ALSO BE UPDATING CLOTHING SIZES FOR ALL THE CHILDREN AT THIS DISTRIBUTION. MAKE
SURE YOU FILL OUT A CLOTHING CARD WHEN YOU SIGN IN AT THE SCHOOL SUPPLY REGISTRATION TABLE.

Food distribution is held on third Friday of each month with the exception of months that have five Fridays,
then it will be on the fourth Friday (see schedule below)
Those who are infirm or homebound can call the Chairman
at 693-8703 or Dick at 693-6357 to receive home delivery.
Transportation to the Food Bank is provided by the recreation
department. To arrange a ride call them at 693-1100 (town hall) then extension 2203 (recreation department)
IMPORTANT NOTICES
The generosity of our Lacey Community is what keeps the Lacey Food
Bank going and growing. We would ask however that you not leave your donations outside the building. We try to
have a volunteer on site Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 10 AM - Noon. If we are closed, please
call 609-242-2848 and we will be happy to make other arrangements. Food donations left outside overnight or over
a weekend are subject not only to the weather but also are attraction for pests and animals. Many times, these
donations must be thrown out.
Please help us by contributing donations other than food to the
appropriate charities.We do not have the storage space or the manpower to handle clothing or other household
donations at this time.

LACEY ROAD UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE.
The stated mission of the Lacey Food Bank Program is that no one in Lacey shall go
to bed hungry. We call on the community to reach out, find the needy and help them enroll in the program. Look around you
at your neighbors - an elderly housebound person perhaps? Or a needy youngster in your class? Transportation or home delivery
can be arranged. Help us to help them.
Emergency food situations are met at all times.
Eligibilty Requirements
TO REGISTER, APPLY AT THE ADMINISTRATOR'S OFFICE, 818 W. LACEY ROAD, AT THE MUNICIPAL BUILDING. CLIENTS MUST BE RESIDENTS
OF LACEY TOWNSHIP AND PROVIDE PROOF OF RESIDENCY & INCOME.
THOSE RECEIVING FOOD STAMPS, WIC AND PAAD ARE AUTOMATICALLY ELIGIBLE WITH OTHER LOW INCOME FAMILIES ELIGIBLE ON AN INDIVIDUAL
BASIS DEPENDING ON INCOME, SIZE OF FAMILY AND MOST IMPORTANTLY, NEED.
